Reading and Writing (Activity VI)

Currently, today’s society emphasizes excusing everything that human beings do and improper behavior towards others is very serious. Many times we blame our friends, family, acquaintances for our inappropriate behaviors and make excuses such as: “because you are like this” or “why I have always been like this” and we do not realize the damage that these can do to us. simple excuses. However, also, many times we are horrified by the actions of others, but we do nothing to avoid them. We are afraid of knowing what he will think or what they will say about me behind my back for speaking clearly to one person and telling him what affects me or discourages me from the other. We create monsters in ourselves and in others without realizing it, and when it is too late we try to run away from our problems by blaming others and leaving it in the hands of others. However, I think Mary Shelly did want to emphasize that we live in a society without compassion because of what the writing mentioned.

Criterion #4: Reading and Writing (Activity V)

In the novel Frankeistan it is stated that there are murders, tragedies and despair due to the lack of connection between families. In addition, it is important to mention that isolation is bad for people since, as the text says, responsibilities are lost, the consequences of their actions and negativity arrives. I also want to mention that it is very important that we humans socialize among ourselves because as I have already mentioned before, if we do not do it, it is not good for us. However, my thinking is that I wanted a person to be isolated from other people depending on their mental and emotional problems that they may have. Which it can cause fear that people move further away from the affected person. In spite of everything, really, I have never been away from the family, but sometimes one withdraws from friends to be able to put life in order and see what is doing me wrong and what is not. And many times that makes me feel good.

Criterion 4: Reading and Writing (Activity IV)

According to what the article mentions, it is said that young people find out about the news through the application of twitter., Tiktok, youtube, and influencer. 54% of young people watch the news on social networks. Another 50% find out about the news from YouTube and the other 40% find out from organizations. In addition, it also talks about what misinformation is, which is always present online, as there were several memes which explained the improbability. To add to it, a person named Jamie Withorne did a search and what she thinks about memes is that they can provide comfort. That is why for young people, memes can cause emotions depending on the way the person feels, in this case young people. On the other hand, what is the Politifact is the verification of data that specifically targets journalists. In addition, the article also mentions what CNN 10 has been, that it is a program which explains the news of the day in just 10 minutes.

To conclude, I think that memes are a valuable tool, currently and much more for young people. Since they make people laugh, but in the same way, I think that in parts it is considered disrespectful on many occasions and they are contradictory for people. To support the aforementioned, I think that memes are not for national security professionals for many reasons. Last but not least I want to clarify that my friends find out about the news via instagram or via twitter, just like me and I think it is reliable since the pages that I follow are newscasts.
